Historical Lincoln
Lincoln is a historical town dating back centuries. It has many historical cathedrals, churches and castles. Many of these historical buildings can be visited by the general public and are open throughout the year.

Lincoln Cathedral became famous in August 2005 when filming of certain scenes of the major film The Da Vinci Code was filmed there. Since then, tours of the cathedral have become much more popular.
