NLCA has reported significant progress following another meeting with government officials. The association recently met with vosa, the police and department of transport, in London were they discussed an accord on possible legislation governing the safe and legal operation of vehicles up to and including 8 passenger seats and 9 to 16 seats.

Full details of the meeting will not be revealed until proposals' have been placed in front of the minister. NLCA feels that it soon will be able to offer definite and specific advice on both the current interpretations of the rules and also major changes will occur early next year effecting both up to 8 passenger and 9 to 16 passenger limousines. The gathering follows a successful meeting some months ago in Bradford when the association and agencies met in Bradford to start of the discussions on licencesing.
