Car Auction Selling £2.25 Million Worth of Cars
The Bonhams car auction grosses £2.25 million; the luxury car show was placed at the RAF museum where a number of supercars were on display at event. Three of the four Ferraris on offer were sold but two were sold right before the auction so the prices were disclosed. The third a 2003 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale was sold to a telephone bidder on the continent.
A 1901 De Dio Bouton was sold for £97,200 and a 1933 Delage D8 Foursome Drophead Coupe went for £82,900 and a 1963 Bentley S3 Continental Flying Spur Saloon was sold for a nice £79,600. Another car which attracted a number of phone line bidders was a 1954 Allard Palm Beach Mk1 ‘Red Ram’ Roadster which eventually went to someone in the room for £52,100.
They are all exquisite cars and some people could only dream of owning such cars however that doesn’t mean you can’t hire one of our luxury limos or supercars for the day and make you feel like a true celebrity for the day.
