We all know the student protesting which has been going off in recent weeks, and their recent acts bought central London to a standstill and the protests turned violent.

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall were on their way to the Royal Variety Performance when protestors smashed the window of their 1977 classic Rolls Royce Phantom VI, and covered the car with paint. Prince Charles and Camilla were unharmed but were very shocked by the protestors attacks, reports say Camilla looked very shaken up as she stepped out the royal vehicle.

All this violence has been caused by the governments recent upraise in tuition fees rising from £3,000 to £9,000 a year, the shop windows on Oxford Street were smashed and reports of looting were confirmed by the police. The Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square was also set on fire.

In Parliament Square, the protestors threw rocks, metal fencing and even slabs of pavement at the officers, the Police responded back with riot charges and horse charges at the protestors. The demonstrators also tried to get into the Supreme Court buildings smashing the windows, while they graffiti the Winston Churchill statue.

Ten police officers and 38 protesters were injured during the demonstration.
