Three Kitchener-area residents were taken to hospital after a brawl in a limousine passing through Flam borough early Sunday. Hamilton police report officers were called to a Pioneer Gas station parking lot, 1092 Highway 6, about 2 a.m. Sunday.
A rented limousine was carrying 11 passengers, age 19 to 21, from the Kitchener area, Hamilton police say. The limousine stopped in the parking lot after people inside started to fight. Four people were injured and three were taken to hospital. The victims and witnesses are uncooperative with police. The investigation continues, Hamilton police say.
The police are now set to look into the investigation much more seriously.
Daniel Bourgeois' vehicle is just about the only convertible that's acceptable to drive in the freezing temperatures of a so-cold-it-hurts Minnesota winter. It's roofless, of course, with no climate control and seating for 12 people to ride in style. But it's far from sleek, miles from sporty. Bourgeois' convertible looks just like an ice-resurfacing machine, or Zamboni, you'd see at any local ice rink, though it's licensed to drive on roads and can hit speeds up to 75 miles an hour.
Even the most hockey-obsessed Minnesotan would think twice if he saw something resembling a Zamboni cruise past him on the highway. It's out-of-the-box thinking, but for Bourgeois, building the vehicle that he calls the "Cold Rod" was a logical plan for a retirement business. Since the vehicle was completed in 2008, though, Bourgeois has realized that owning it is as fun as he'd expected, but the business side of operations is far more difficult than he ever could have imagined.
Bourgeois ran the ice rinks at the University of Minnesota for 28 years before transitioning into his position in which he takes care of all the university's athletic facilities. In his years on the ice, Bourgeois said, he quickly learned the attraction of the giant Zamboni he drove every day.
A member of the Pussycat Dolls has been dragged into a Toronto Police fraud investigation involving an unpaid limo bill from her recent trip to the city. After trying in vain for several days to get Chrystina Sayers or her promoter, Neil Johnson, to pay up, the limo driver who carted the pop star around town Feb. 24-26 complained to police.
“I want to see this through,” said a frustrated John Arsenov. “I want to get paid.” The owner-operator of Amberlea Executive Limousine Service claimed he provided services to Sayers and her group. With taxes, gratuity and the cost of the police report, the driver said he’s owed more than £1800.
In the report he filed at 23 Division last Thursday, Arsenov alleged he was called on Feb. 24 to the Marriott Residence Inn, near the airport. Upon arrival, he claimed, Sayers met him in the hotel lobby.
Last week the reality-TV rumour mill went into to overdrive with reports that hard-partying "Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi will have to leave her boozing behaviour behind because she has a baby on the way. According to sources, a source close to Snooki has revealed that she's also engaged to long-time boyfriend Jionni Lavallette news isn't exactly a shock for the reality star's fans. Snooki has often talked of her hopes of marrying Jionni one day, and in January, she got specific about it.
"I know he's the one, so I know the ring's gonna come soon," she told People at the time. "Well, not soon-soon. He knows it should be big, cuz if it's small, I'm saying no. Like, 'get another ring!'"
The Chinese market are being criticised at the moment due to the amount of fake cars and limousines coming out of the market. The companies are making copy cat vehicles such as Maybach’s and Rolls Royce vehicles in order to sell the vehicles. Some witnesses in the country said the copy’s are almost perfect from the outside and it is only until you sit in the vehicle on close inspection you can see the quality just isn’t there. Many companies such as Maybach and Rolls Royce may not want such copy cat cars coming out as it promotes a different image for the company.
The Chinese market has always come up with counterfeited goods however nobody has quite saw nothing like this. There was an image which leaked upon the internet around 2months ago which seen a man build his own Lamborghini and a very good attempt at that.
She had attended a wedding earlier in the evening and she was unfortunately 'off her face'," solicitor Alberto Noronha said. "The sad thing about weddings is that lollipop drinks are consumed in grandiose quantities by those celebrating."
The 34-year-old later pushed her cousin to the ground, Maitland Local Court heard. When arrested the next day, Baker abused and spat at police and threatened to hurt her parents and her cousin.
Her parents were left with facial bruising and scratches to their face. Baker was issued with 12-month good behaviour bonds after pleading guilty to domestic violence-related common assault charges and intimidating her cousin. The woman was so drunk she didn’t even know her name to police.
She took more than £800 as well as items such as a mobile phone, bank and store cards. She told police officers she carried out the offences to pay towards the cost of her wedding. At North Tyneside Magistrates’ Court, Ridley, now married and living with her husband at Wilson Court, Whitley Bay, pleaded guilty to five counts of theft by employee.
Prosecutor Sarah O’Neill said the defendant had been working as a cleaner for six years’ separate incidents; she stole a BlackBerry mobile phone, five £1 coins, £30 cash and a purse containing a bank card and Boots store card. She had also twice taken money from the health centre’s petty cash tins, pocketing £790 in total.
Miss O’Neill told the court: “This was a substantial breach of trust from two different venues.”Ridley’s solicitor Stephen Moore said his client, who had now found another job, had no previous convictions.
He added: “She married in June last year. That plays a part in this offending. She says that on one occasion she stole £490 from the Shiremoor centre and on another occasion she stole £300.“That was before her getting married. All the offending is linked to that.
Adele to Wed in Vegas
Adele is reportedly planning to marry her partner, Simon Konekes, in Las Vegas.
The British singing sensation has been romancing Koneke for several months and has been flaunting a band on her ring finger lately, sparking rumours that they are already engaged. The buzz has it that the 23-year-old singer has already started making wedding plans and would apparently love to jet to the US to tie the knot.“They can hardly bare to be apart, and have already talked about spending the rest of their lives together. Adele’s never been one for big, over-the-top celebrations, so she’s told Simon she’d rather elope,” Stuff.co.nz quoted a source as telling Look magazine.
“They’d gather about 20 of their close friends and family and go to Las Vegas for the ceremony. Then she and Simon would disappear to Memphis – Adele’s a big Elvis fan – for a romantic honeymoon,” the source added. The pair would then host a lavish party back in the UK for their friends and family.
Do you think Adele will be getting married in the States?
Whitney Houston former limousine driver has spoken out after the recent death of the star. He said it was a really tragic moment and a real horror story to die at such a young age from a drug which is pretty lethal in destroying a person life. Whitney will be remembered for her fantastic singing and her songs but what an awful way to ruin that by being remembered by drugs.
The limo driver spoke out and said he can remember when the star used to take crack cocaine in the back of his limousine. The crack cocaine destroyed her he said but he turned a blind eye and at the end of the day she was paying his wages he said and he couldn’t go against that. He said Whitney was really good to him and did everything she could to help him out when he needed it.
